Arie Maasland (Rotterdam, May 26, 1908 – Bussum, November 22, 1980) was a Dutch composer and musician. Many of his works have been published under the pseudonym Malando.

Malando's orchestra gains world fame thanks to the tango Olé Guapa. After founder Arie Maasland and his son-in-law Evert Overweg, Maasland's grandson Danny Malando becomes orchestra leader. In 2004 the orchestra celebrates its 65th anniversary in Tuschinski in Amsterdam.
